Got the Double Din installed today...

Ok...

It was nice today. The Double DIN is in, I was going to post a write up here, but I read in another post that a few people are getting annoyed with reading about double din installs.

I however did a write up, and it can be found here, on my car clubs website...

here is a pic of the almost complete result... Made a slight change, so I am awaiting the new trim plate...

This is how I want to do mine. I dont want to have to change the configuration of my dash too much, but want to upgrade to a DD. Got anymore closer straight shots on the stereo, showing how much gap is under the bottom to the bezel and to the top?

Looks really nice. I'd like to do this as well. I wouldn't be against you posting your write up here, I like reading everyone's method of doing it since they are all different, some move all the AC controls, some don't. I think you should post it.

I like how he kept the HVAC controls and everything where they were. Looks so much better than a HUGE space all around the unit and nothing else there

Ok, got the little trim piece, and I now want to get a new bezel because I cut a wee bit more off the bezel than I needed. I am very pleased with the result...

Oh, got the aztek needles in there now instead of my red ones I had made.
