Getting rid of my spider injection

I have a 98 2 dr Tahoe with the 5.7. My engine finial died on me this winter. I got 350,000 miles out of her so i'm not complaining. I'm going to put in a 383 stoker crate engine in but I relay don't want to use the spider injection. Is there a way of switching her over to using fuel injection rails? Has anyone else done this?

None are straightforward swaps

im in the same boat. (changing away from the spider) So far the only answer I have found is modifying an aftermarket intake and losing EGR.
