Yeah they can be a pain, I have bought several of them, the first time I pulled one it was interesting.

Yeah once the top is off, the forward mounting screws can be removed.

There are screws hidden under the mat in the storage area under the arm rest. also after all the bolts are out slide it forward to get it off the mount in the rear
