cali lean equals the lose forever.

Now sourthern, I get what u r sayin. I wasn't sure if they did have less lift out back or not, that is a good thing because to me it should be level, a lifted truck, raked or cali lean doesn't look right to me, it needs to be level. I can handle an inch or so front or rear high but I'd go level for sure.

To me cali lean looks as you said for rake, springs can't handle it, the back is weighed down with a huge load or something.

2wd yep rake looks good, cali lean if it's pulling the wheels off the line LOL.

Your truck, can barely tell it's leaning and it looks great you know it, I know it, and most everyone else would agree I bet. 6.5 and 37's FTW, for life, for sure.

i can also atest, i hate cali lean for another reason, if you hooked up the load that we were pullin with dads truck earlier to your truck, unless you have helper bags, it would look like your front end was off the ground and would not be fun to drive, but do to dads texas rake, the truck sits level, and is not bad at all to drive, then again as you said its all in what you like, to me cali screams mall crawler that is used to carry big boxes that won fit in the back of a car, level says it likes to work, and play, texas rake says it should be hooked to a sled

Yes maximum of lean is 2 inches or else it looks horrid, and no 33s on a 10 inch lift, that's horrid also. Either level or 1-2 inches of lean looks best imo. I can't wait to get my Octanes bolted up! There gonna stick.out like a biatchhh!

haha I get it but I'm not going to chalk it up to desert racing. I just think that for the simple fact of looks, 1-2" higher in the front is common with trucks that are lifted correctly and texas rake 1-2" lower in the front are common with backwoods trucks that aren't lifted correctly. Guys that buy a huge block and expect to just crank the hell out of their truck to match = texas rake.

I too love a level truck for sure. Alot of times mine looks perfectly level and sometimes like in my driveway or on inclines you notice the cali lean, but if anything, that is a good thing. This is why the good lift kits commonly lift the front 1-2" higher than the rear :endofshow: Not because most trucks are already texas raked out, because the common 1.5-2" crank fixes that anyway. Just for fun, go look at any of the cleanest lifted trucks you've ever seen on here, gmfullsize, wherever and you'll find level or cali. That's because these lift kits support that. Then look at all the trucks with 3" body, blocks and crank, and you find the texas rake. That is all. Not really saying ones better, but it's my opinion that level or cali is legit, no "I'm slammed on the brakes about to rearend someone" look. Hate it.

I have bl and crank and blocks and I have a small amount of cali lean

Exactly! Or Texas rake=a truck that only pulls heavy loads or a hillbilly truck lmao

Yup, it means that you wanted a chevelle but could only afford a Ford Ranger with mismatched rims and want to terrify people with your might 4 cylinder engine. Texas rake on trucks is reserved, around here anyways, for welfare broke ass rigs, reservation trucks and people who tow/haul 1 ton truck capacities with a 1/2 ton and have 3 sets of helper springs. I think it looks cheap, cali or level, I like level the best, for the **** win.

Good I'm glad we've all established our opinions...but looks can be deceiving because I pull my trailer 5 days a week :D but also I barely have cali, which is the perfect amount of cali IMO :D
