I'm just looking for a set of shorty headers to clean up the look of the engine a little bit. I just hate the cast manifolds with the heat shields that rust off every 5 thousand miles.

So what do you guys have? Any recommendations?

ebay stainless, the ONLY way to go.

$122-130 or so shipped, ball end, NO lower gaskets, and stainless so NO rust.

plus a direct bolt in for manifolds no mods, except maybe spacers or bracket mods up front, but bolt on to the exhaust.

any others that have the flat flange require mod to the exhaust.

those posted above look to have ball end and would be the same, but rust fast and are more expensive. I bought mine from tuning pros on ebay.

just did a search for chevy truck headers, or stainless chevy truck headers etc.

if you have a vortec engine though you may have more issues.

I bought the exact same ones for my truck and am extremely happy with them.
