I liked the look of the cowl but every single obs up here seems to have a cowl hood. Just wanting to be more original, plus I really love a clean, simple look.

agreed... i've thought of having my stock hood painted and ditch my cowl also. (not to be starting a trend or anything lol)

Haha I was in the same situation and just went for it. Your truck looks sick with either hood!

Doesn't help that the static twin to your truck was rocking an HD style hood for awhile.

Around here the only GMT 400 truck's I see anymore are beat down worn out pieces of crap, it seems like everyone has to have a giant lifted 99+.

Yeah lots of obs trucks up here are in need of some TLC as well. We have a ton of lifted 99+ trucks too, especially with all the oil field workers. Some trucks have way too much going on and are awful!! But as long as they have 10"+ of lift that's all that seems to matter for some people lol.

This guy in the show scene up here also has a similar front end as my 92 and was another reason I opted to go back to the stock hood

The air brush work on that truck is insane! Very well done. I'll see if I can find more pics of it. It truly is a work of art when you see it in person.
