And 5.7 is 347 cid, just because someone has a unit converter built into their website doesn't mean anything.

They round for liter displacement. If its 5.657 liters they call it a 5.7 mot of the time. Typically a liter designation covers about a 10 cubic inch span in either direction. The newer (323) 5.3s have a different bore/stroke than the older 5.3s (327), but share a similar displacement range

Case in point to this particular thread, the early Chevy 5.0s were 302s, then punched out a little more into 305s, while Ford has the 302 5.0, and Pontiac has the 4.9L 302 (they called it a 301 to avoid being compared to the Ford 302, but was actually above 302 CI)
