my duals when i fisr did them with the summit tailpipes and a flowmaster 40 and 1 of my tailpipes wasnt welded right because i didnt double check before i welded it

That was me... voted before I completely comprehended the question

What I *have* is a 15 year old stainless 3" single exit pipe with a worn out muffler of unknown origin...

what I am *doing* is true dual 3" (hi flow cats and 30" long glasspacks) on long tube headers that exits at a 45 deg angle just in front of the rear wheels and just under the lower body edge. Not quite Duals, Not quite Dumped.

I have true duels all the way out the back at 45s with 4x18 45 degree slash tips... looks great and sounds great. very loud. sorry for no pic :/

That thing will have no bottem end with 3" pipes 2 1/2 is the biggest i would go.

Personally I like them angled at the corners.

My new exhaust. 3" 409 Stainless True Dual exhaust with stainless Magnaflow XL mufflers. No tips, just cleaned the ends of the pipe up.
