Thank you @kennythewelder and @L31MaxExpress for the varing view points. I plan on doing a cam soon, as well as better flowing 200cfm Skip White NKB200-174.
So I think long tubes may work better for the soon coming mods. I have a tiny little cam so I’ll probably loose power everywhere because of the cam.

I was waiting for the dyno graphs to show up. This L31 is a troll. A shill I tell you. He has numerous monikers and alters and is famed around the interwebz for posting grandiose stories of horsepower.

Must have been outed from yet another board for posting fake dyno graphs to wind up here.

I have a past but this is the straight scoop. I have not been outed on any boards.

Playing around with a low 12 second Infiniti M56 now. No desire to fabricate anything just put up actual results.

Put something other than the wimpy 395' cam in your burb and maybe you won't have to call yourself slow burb any longer, lol!

That being said the above torque curve was floating valves badly from inadequate spring pressure. I had 55# at the seat and less than 150# open at 0.490 lift on the intake springs. I fixed that issue and gained nearly 10 ft/lbs at peak and 30 hp up top with that pathetic 395' cam. A 215/224 @ .050 on 110 lsa roller cam was worth another 40 hp and did not cost anything torque wise all the way down to 2,500 rpm. The 350 likes to breathe even as a stock engine and shorties do nothing for those tiny 1/2 ton 1 7/8" head pipes. I probably only saw decent gains from them because I had factory dual 3" headpipes.

I swapped my Express over to a full 1 ton suspension, brakes and running gear because of what I tow. So saying it is tested far beyond a drag race. I roll down the road at about 12,500 lbs. O had put the stock 15" wheels and 29" tall tires on it before I started towing tp help out with the overall gearing. 3.73s and 31.5" tall tires with a 4L85E were no fun to pull that weight with. Despite the 3.73s it was alot like pulling away from a stop with a 4L60E and a 2.73 rear gear.

With the 395' cam that dyno chart was right at 230 rwhp @ 4,400 and 304 rwtq @ 3,400. I swapped LS6 springs on Comp 787 retainers with .050" offset retainers. Power climbed to 257 rwhp @ 4,800 and 310 rwtq @ 3,200. At 9.6:1 static compression and 0.041" quench I was finding the timing curve octane limited. I added the flex fuel sensor and retuned on E85. On E85 with as much as 8° more timing in places I made 272 rwhp @ 4,700 and 325 rwtq @ 2,900. 215/223 cam is 40 hp stronger peak to peak and only peaked at 5,400 rpm. So my point is do not strangle the motor, let it breath and put a little cam in it. Box stock Vortec heads flow enough to make over 450 hp if you give them a means to breathe.
