Got a few things done, biggest being the 2" lift shackles and front keys. Now I just need bigger tires. Had a nice sunset last night so I figured i'd take the opportunity to get some pics.

they are 285s, but not the best tread. I haven't decided yet. but i'm thinking I want to get either 305 or 315s, along with wider rims with a small backspacing, as long as they'll fit on the front

I was thinking it would be close. I kinda wanted to go with BF Goodrich All Terrain KOs, but they don't have 305s, just 285s and 315s. I might get the tires and mount them on the stockers for now, and figure out the rims later

They do make a 295 75 16 size. Just over 33" and over 11" wide. I'm about to pull the trigger on a set

Well, I did come across some 305s but they're all 70s so they're no taller than 285s

That's the common size, 305/70r16 or 285/75r16. It's almost a wash between them for height, and only 1" in width difference.

The tires I have picked for Pigpen, 285's are about 150 cheaper, so 285's it is for me lol.

Yeah, I would go with 285s, but I have a feeling that i'd look at them once on and think I coulda squeezed bigger ones on. I had 285s on my 01 when I got it, and they fit with 2" blocks and cranked keys, so i'm thinking on this 2500 315s should fit as long as I don't get too wide of rims for the front
