Trust me I really really want that crew cab! We will see though. It's amazing in person I tell you what, I would daily that sexy CCSB everywhere. Has hella CA back fees ($1800) but that isn't a problem since I can get them cleared, but I'll have a salvage title. Doesn't bug me one bit!
If I don't get it, maybe I'll just paint the HD victory red and think it's the same thing but way better! Minus parking aspects.
HOPEFULLY get to pick up my block this week. Guy has been kinda iffy and I want to get it started, make the zf6 adapter plate, and get it in the truck!!!
Also, another BS thing in this state, called SB-174 and I'll quote it. Found out about it the other day on a facebook group from a fellow CA 3500HD 6.5 owner.

Essentially, SB 174 states that starting in the year 2020 the DMV will no longer transfer registration or renew registration for diesel vehicles year model 2004 or older with a GVWR between 14,001 and 26,000 pounds. No retrofit is available to delay or prevent this action. By the year 2023, no heavy duty diesel vehicles with GVWR greater than 14,000 pounds and older than 2011 will be transferred or allowed registration renewal. As an example, a Ford F450 has a GVWR greater than 14, 000 GVWR. You can

So in other words I would have been better with a normal C/K3500 at this point since the GVWR is 10k on those and I'm at 15k.
Like the diesel swap is one hell of a loop to go through but I believe it's manageable, but the fact they will stop registration in 2020 will only give me just over a year to have it "legal" in California. Which is bullshit. Tf do they want us to do? 2011 and newer trucks? 1976 and newer gasoline trucks from 14-26k GVWR? Like ****, this **** is killing me. Makes me wish I was 20yo in 2007 so I could get around all of this stuff for 13 years. I plan on running a 3 car wedge trailer behind this thing hauling cars for the junkyard. I guess my only saving grace is there is a "yard" in Cornelius, OR and I could register it there. This regulation stuff is so lame. I love California minus Sac, SF, LA, and SD controlling the state but it seems like every year they tighten your freedom a little more no matter if it's guns, trucks, etc. I really really do wish State of Jefferson would happen. Even at the junkyard the newest truck in that group is actually my HD. ***** with the entire program and damn near made me sick when I heard of this.
