In 98 the only option listed is G80= Gov lok. Or standard open diff.
If it is actual posi- trac , it may have been dealer installed aftermarket or prior owner install.
But not factory built installation.
And if it was factory there would some kind of documentation. Especially if it some kind special order option or COPO provision.
