So I have a 90 Chevy Suburban 1500 5.7 and it has 35's on it so I assume already has lift kit. I have seen another 90 suburban 1500 but it had 40's on it and looked like a beast. Now he had 3/4 ton axles on it but said he had a problem with drivetrain cause the rear axle cracked open his transmission case some how. My question to y'all is based on what I currently have...what is the easiest and most affordable way to swap out axles so I can run 40's without having to do a whole lot of modifications?
