    No, it doesn't really sound any louder than usual at idle. every now and then it sounds like it has a little "baby" backfire, just kinda like a blub noise. I Fixed a vacuum line just earlier and it smoothed it out a little but it still does it some.

    Well the thing with a 12v is ALOT heavier, and requires new motor mount. since the 6.5 came stock in these trucks it'll be easier. Plus it costs rediculously to get a 12v motor around here. like 2K is where they start if they run. i can pick up a donor 6.5 truck for around $1200

    Figured it out! the resistor?(i think thats what they are) the little black boxes on the back of the blinkers were screwed up on my passenger side light, they then got hot and melted the back of one, I'm about to email the people I ordered them from and ask for a new set.

    Okay, got the grille and lights blinkers and corners put in, i love how they look(will get pictures up once they download) but now i'm having issues with my blinkers. when the headlights/markers are off the left side blinker works but not the marker, with the right side on the right blinks dimly...

    Yeah i'm looking at getting a set of something like the Pro-comp "rock crawler" rims in 15's for now so i can use my current tires and wear them out while i save for a set of 20's like i want. Thats the plan atleast!

    Dang!! thats still really cheap!! well didn't get to get the rims on this paycheck as the ignition switch on my truck went completely out now and truck wouldn't start. Didn't have time to check junkyards and had to pay $200 for one from ABC auto. This sucks!
