Okay, so i know alot of people are going to say that it'd be cheaper/easier/"smarter" to just buy a truck with a 6.5 in it, Build the 350 or use a cummins instead, Etc. But i'm wanting to swap a mechanical injection(92/93) 6.5 diesel in place of my TBI 350. For the fuel mileage, the power difference(torque) for towing and cummins are more involved to swap and alot more expensive here, and that i just plain and simply miss the rattle and smell of a diesel lol I'm planning to get a donor truck for it, and i'm just trying to figure out what all i will have to swap or change to make it work. Will the gauges in my 95 work with the 92/93 motor? I want one with mechanical injection for the simplicity of the swap and the reliability. Has anyone done this kind of swap or know of a build thread for this swap? thanks everyone.
