    Loud clapping noise?

    Loud clapping noise UPDATE (fixed?) So the truck has been doing this all winter, I've just been too lazy to ask about it. I only drive the truck a couple times a week, and it's usually ~50 outside. It does this for a good 5 minutes. When I rev, it speeds up. I don't notice any other problems...

    As you may have seen I (likely) have an exhaust leak so I'm looking into a new muffler. I want something that sounds nice and deep, but quiet. I barely want to hear it until it I step on it. Also this is for the 4.3 V6. I don't know much about them so what do you guys think?

    97 LeSabre smells like unburned gas

    97 LeSabre smells like unburned gas. FIXED! Under the hood as soon as you start it and after you turn it off. Any ideas? A friend of a friend said it's probably a fuel injector or line. I know it's not a truck but it's a GM product lol

    cutting tail pipe?

    I cut the tailpipe I have the stock pipe sticking out of the back and it is UGLY. Eventually I'd like to put a new muffler etc but i'm low on money. Would cutting a foot or so off make any difference as far as passing smog or anything? I can't see why it would, just making sure lol. also...
