    98 z-71 rear axle question??

    I need to tear into my rear axle and replace the bearings. My question is what I'm I going to be getting into as far as taking the chunk out and stuff. It is supose to have a factory locker according to the codes in the glove box and is the larger ring gear of the two. Thanks

    Fuel pump?

    I've researched this on here and I'm not sure what the deal is. I see where the 98 is supose to have a fuel pressure regulator but I can't find one on mine. If the truck sits for more than a couple mins I have to turn the key on and let the fuel pump catch up before it will start. I'm guessing...

    98 k1500 4wd not working!!!!!

    Ok I was in the woods today and my 4wd wouldn't work. So when I got home I started checking stuff out found I had power to the front actuator in 4wd and it moved just seemed weak so I replaced it and still nothing. Any ideas????

    Idle not right!!!

    After installing my reman engine the idle wants to jump around a little. Not all the time and I'm getting a po171 and po174 code which says something about o2 sensors any ideas???

    Help!! 98 5.7 timing!!!

    I can't seem to get my timing down to 0 degree's I'm thinking I have the body of the distributor in wrong. Looking at the top of the engine which side is the wire plug suppose to be on?

    98 Z-71 help!!

    I got 98z-71 and the little orange light that is the auto trans gear indicator flashes on and off sometimes and when this happens I loss my cruise and a/c compressor I know it is electrical but was hoping someone had seen this before and could save me some time hunting it down thanks
