    Stupid Lower Manifold

    *groan* My Maxxforce 4.3.. sorry.. My Vortec 4.3 emptied all its coolant into the oil pan last week.. So after I got it home I stripped the top end down cleaned it all up.. Broke the stupid heater line fitting in the manifold.. tried to extract it and... after a little to much persuasion...

    I wish i could find one for that price. Around here i would be no less then $1000 plus paint. I think ill just cut out the rust and use some body panle adhesive as they arent really structural. Fixing the rest of the rust up on the box probably won't be so bad

    Second the vacuum leaks.. and don't just check for them put a gauge on it! Put a mechanical gauge on both your fuel pressure and vacuum and drive it.. This will tell you a lot.
