that is my favorite grill......i really want one with quad lights, if i ever find the Bosch e-code low beams.......i'm eventually going to get another truck. that's probably the way i'll go.
I don't know if your interested but there is a website berubes.com that sells all kinds of lights. It's a big rig (Peterbilt, Kenworth etc.) aftermarket company. Maybe something there you haven't seen.

hmmm.....

i seem to recall you coming on here and asking a question or three and getting answers from folks without fanfare....i'm sure some people thought your queries rather fundamental and basic, but answers you got none-the-less.

there's folks at home following along that don't ask questions for their own reasons.....perhaps they feel embarrassed to ask things that seem mundane.....some folks are shy.

****, or photographs help people SEE what can be done and make things easier to understand.....we like pictures....and they may inspire some to do the same.

apparently from your lofty perspective it wasn't necessary....that's fine. after all...not everyone can build and install a harness whilst takin a ****.......so i feel umbrigde from your dismissive response.

taking the time to type that post was ****** stupid in my opinion......we've gone 168 pages without any bullshit, so do us a favor and refrain from posting unless it's something positive.....or just stay the fu@ck outta this thread.

First and foremost I didn't mean my post to be negative. And quite frankly I'm a little out off that that's the first damn thing you jumped on was that I was being as ass. You took that wrong. He wasn't asking me for pics so he'd know how to do something. Had that been the case I would've helped any way I could. He mentioned that taking pics along the way was how to show off my work. My response was that there is nothing to show off. There is 4" of exposed harness for each light. And as for the process of making it hell it would take more time cleaning my hands to take another picture than it did to make it. I wasn't even remotely suggesting I am above helping even though you seem to think I was. I was saying had this been something more drawn out then it would make more sense to me to take pics. That way it would be beneficial.

I'm not sure what crawled up your ass, maybe you were having a sh!tty day. Either way I didn't deserve to be written off as quickly as I was nor did I deserve to be suggested to stay the *** away based on your WRONG opinion of what I meant by my post.

i felt like your reaction was pretty smug about my comment. pics help A LOT OF PEOPLE, if not me, then someone else. i feel the way Bill does. either help by contributing or just look.

think it's 6.
how'r ya gonna trigger the relay?
i will cut the OEM wire to both low and high lights and use that.
how far from that fence is
your truck, 60 feet?

well....

reading words on a page sometimes makes it hard to determine the authors intent and meaning....i understand that it's hard to articulate a thought process with few words, especially without many descriptive ones and a lengthy and eloquent dialogue .....inflection, timbre and facial expressions are nonexistent and lost, sometimes even on the phone....i get it.

i'm glad you responded to clarify your intent with this post......i didn't have a ****** day and i didn't write you off.....i only mentioned the two options i felt and still feel are acceptable to the collective of this thread......apparently i wasn't alone with my perception.

in case you haven't noticed, or read this whole exasperating thread....this isn't a "technical" thread, per se, zip zip one and done.......i've invested my energy, time and self....as did others, talking about lighting and getting to know one another a bit......we seem to like the the "digital environment" we've created.....it seemed to me you tossed a stone in our tranquil pond.

i've become humble in my advancing years, i'm not a keyboard commando......i simply wrote what i would have said had we been face to face...i won't tolerate what i perceived here in the "real world", so i can only convey that intolerance here with written words...... i accept the fact you're reading with same disadvantage as i.

no harm, no foul....we're good

you're lights look like they're aimed a little high....is that a 5' fence? seems like a nice full pattern, from my house at least....but i remember your lenses are pretty good though.....mine were absolute yellow crap and the light they provided proved THAT to me.

6G wire.....yea, you're a welder, LOL......

I can fully appreciate speaking your mind, I'm guilty as charged and when I'm an ass I can assure you it's no more or less than I would be face to face as well. I'm not new to the game and this isn't my first forum experience. But I promise, when I'm being a SOB it's quite obvious I'm being a SOB. With all that being said, in the future, now that you know my intentions aren't harmful or belittling, if something comes off ******, just say "hey dude, not sure how you meant that but you sounded like a dick."

But now that we're on the same page, I can agree. We're good let's move on [emoji1303]
