Rear Drum to Disc Conversion kit questions.

Im thinking about converting my back brakes to disc, looks like i will go to the auto parts store sometime after i get my cepek installed, to see how much i can get away with everything for the rear

ok, i used search and viewed a few pages...but so far i haven't found a link or write up on anyone having does the Impala SS rotors and Speedway parts yet...if there is will someone please point me in the right direction

I never did a write up. I just spent many hours at the parts store. I post up part numbers I used on my truck. I can answer any question you have..

My IMO my truck stops better then before... It's easyier to change pads now

Discs are far superior to drums, better heat dissipation, a lot more resistant to brake fade and pad changes are a 10 minute thing.

alright Hill, i'm gonna try outta one of my next 2 checks to do this. the country roads sure are hard on a set of drums lol. Well, the driver doesn't help either. But i know i did disc swap on my 84 Cutlass and it made the world of difference, SO i can't even imagine mine with 4wdb

Yeah my disc swap is all for performance and the added ease of changing pads instead of shoes with all of those strings lol. Plus slotted and drilled rotors look better than my blue drums.

Will the disc conversion with impala rotors fit behind 15" wheels? Im really thinking about doing this to my truck.
