I have the CMP sensor code cleared up! I had the plug wired like the 5.7 It needed to be wired like the 6.0 DUH. I installed a new sensor and it is much better The hard starting is gone! I do have a stumble at times Hpoefully the relearn will help with that.

Well I spoke too soon My code ame back with a vengence Missing and poping from the lef bank as well. I got the miss/popping sorted out rather quickley. It was a cracked plug on #3 cylinder. (still starting hard mostly when cold) I will try to get in for the relern this week & go from there. I would still do this swap in again:)

I have my CASE/Crank relearn scheduled for tomorrow. 1 change I have made is to move the MAF about a foot away from the throttle body to try and ease the hard start.
I had it about 3" away. Well No differance on the starting but it did smooth out the acceleration from a dead stop. I will make up a custom inlet tube and cold air set up in the next week or two.

I'm out past Emmaus, I will give you any pointers you need. I would not want to be the one who made your swap go up in flames:rocking: Seriously as for the wiring plan I would contact Lextech. I could not have done the wiring without his help!

What connections did you make into the truck harness?

Ls1 swap was a very usefull site. Lextech on this site was key to my sucess

I retained like 75% of the original 6.0 harness the AC,Throttle, alt,Temp, O2 sensors etc was used from the 97
Most of the actual engine harness was from the 6.0 Cam,crank sensors. Maf, temp for pcm, injectors, coils,Knock etc.
I basicly merged the two. I pre fit about 75% prior to starting the physicle swap.
