Please help.
This happened this morning and for the past few days.
The vehicle starts up fine but when I press on the brake pedal the vehicle shuts off.
A day ago I let the truck warm up for about 30 mins. press the brake pedal the vehicle sputters(almost shutsdown) but keeps running. Since stayed running I drove it but during the drive the vehicle restarted again.
What could be causing this?

Sounds like maybe the brake booster is leaking internally. When you go to hit the brakes it'll cause a big vacuum leak and cause the engine to stumble and die. While idling can you slowly depress it and hear any kind of hissing
from inside the cab?

Even if you can't hear it, my guess is that's what's going on. Unless someone here is aware of a more common problem on these trucks with those symptoms.

Does the brakes need to be bleed after a brake booster change?

If you don't disconnect any fluid lines, then no. Sometimes you can unbolt the master from the booster and sneak the booster out.
