Whats the difference

Not trying to sound dumb but I recently bought me a “93 Cheyenne 3500” an I was gonna Kelly blue book it but for some reason it said the vin didn’t match???, An then today on eBay motors I was looking for cosmetics items like grills, fenders, interiors item etc… an I added my truck under the vin an it still said the vin didnt match an said that it’s a 93 gmt400 an I’ve done some research but i honestly don’t get what’s the difference an why its still saying my vin doesn’t match

I would double check the title vs the vin tag. It’s possible that it’s a typo. I had it happen before on a corvette, didn’t even realize it until I sold it.

As mentioned get it from the dash tag. That's the only "real" VIN on the whole vehicle. In other words it's the complete VIN and the one that all transactions related to the vehicle should be based on.
