Vortec 5700 Camshaft upgrade

yeah, the trans will go WAY before you start bending rods...

and the fuel system on a vortec can be vastly improved without too much difficulty. it just depends on what kind of money you're willing to spend, like DGA mentioned.

Speaking from experience, this cam works great in a mostly stock motor. Mine felt much stronger seat of the pants. Just a few bolt ons like LT's and full 2.5'' dual exhaust and some minor porting. With 373's and a 5 speed, wont hook through first or most of second, And i really needa tune to make the most of it.
