Vibration/ shudder while cruising at 45?

When cruising around 45mph I feel a noticeable shudder/shaking under my seat seems like the rear end.

I also noticed yesterday when I had my driveshaft out to change the rear seal that the u joint at the rear end had a little play in it. Is the u joint supposed to have a little wiggle in it? Could this be causing the shaking/vibration?

nope no play in the U joint... and yes a bad or going bad u joint can cause vibrations

What about the rear end yoke, where the u joint goes into should that wiggle at all?
