Underhood work light

Hey guys I tried to put a replacement led bulb into the retractable work light and nothing but the regular bulb works. I also put one in the hood light and it works fine. Any ideas

LEDs only work in one direction power to ground. Maybe the retractable light is wired reverse?

Yes it was I just fixed about an hour ago and was actually going to post on here. Thanks though for some reason it was the last thing I thought to do
