I haven't ever reinforced a set after trimming them either and I have driven several hundred thousand miles with them that way with no issues.

Random question: Has anyone reinforced there arms after trimming the gutters?
Belltech used to offer the reinforcing plates. I've never seen a set installed or heard of anyone using them other than magazine builds back in the early 90's. They may still offer them although they wouldn't be too hard to fab up yourself.

Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate it.
This is going to be my next project. I will probably skip the reinforcements, it doesnt seem to be necessary.

Thanks again
