is the tierod whole on the knuckle tappered? just thinking it would make more sense for the tierod to go on top of the knuckle instead of under. especially with my 6in lift it looks like it binds alot and it probably does because it does feel wierd. anyone have an opinion or thought chime in. looking for some guidance on the topic good idea, bad idea? why or why not.

The hole in the knuckle is tapered. The lift should not cause any binding in the tre even with some crank. Id look for any wore or bent parts first.

no wore or bent parts all were replaced. i did all the work so even the ones i took of werent worn excessively. it seems that at 3/4 of a turn something just grabs and throws the steering to the side so to speak.
