I decided it was about time to post up a thread of how my truck started it's life when i bought it about 5 years ago up to the point im at now. I'll post all the pics from start to the current point im at.
This is when i first bought the truck. It looked like a bit of a hoopdee but i knew there would be hope yet.

This jumps me ahead to the current state of the truck.
-Offroad direct solid axle conversion with 48 inch BDS 4 inch lift springs and 1" zero rate up front.
-Offroad design shackle flip in the rear with a 1" zero rate, add-a-leaf and, 6 inch DIY4X shackle.
-Axles are a 1979 ford hp 44 up front and a 77 ff 14 bolt out back
- Tire and wheels are 37x12.50 bfg km2's and 17 inch black xd addict wheels.
- steering i built from DOM and did a simple crossover setup.
On to some f'n pics.

This brought to swapping out the old 10 bolt along with ditching the tension shackle and block setup.

Her is a comparision of the stock shackle on the right and the diy4x on the left side.

I also swapped the stock wheel studs for dually's as my aftermarket wheels did'nt allow for the proper amount of threads, due the disc conversion.

Here is the rear axle pretty much finished other than the brake situation.

Still have to work on the back bumper and build a front bumper along with painting the toolbox black and getting rid of those side hooks and gas door, but it's coming along.
