Tail light short?

Ok so before I got my led tails my driver side brake light would work when it wanted to. I figured it was the circuit board so figured the led tails would fix it. Now I find out today that my drives brake still works when it wants to. Where should I start looking? And when should I look? Because every time I look to see if it's working it is

Might be a flaky connection at the harness to taillight, happened recently to me and I thought the LED taillight was defective. Had taillight but no brake.

Could also be flaky connection down at the end of the frame where the rear harness plugs into the main harness.

If you have a trailer harness tee'd in there, or crimped on, it could also be affecting it. Try removing it to see.
