I got a really good deal on a t56 from a 98 corvette. It has no tail housing and damaged output shaft. Will housing and shaft from an f body transmission work with that or do I need to find one that came off another corvette transmission. Also Is there a different way that I would have to mount it in the truck. Its a 98 gmc c1500. Or is there a way that I could convert the transmission to an f body?
