I've pulled the SM465 4-speed and replaced it with the NV4500 on my 91 2500. Now I'm down to trying to figure something out about the clutch master cylinder since the NV4500 has a different style line to the clutch master cylinder. Today a guy told me that a company makes a fitting to screw into my old clutch master cylinder that has female fitting on the other end that would accept my new style slave cylinder line. Have any of you ever seen something like this? He couldn't think of what it was called or where he seen it. Thanks.

I was always led to believe that the master has to match the slave.
