I'm about to replace the mirrors on my 95 GMC Suburban. Neither mirror moves using the door control and they are hazy and look terrible. I've purchased a new control switch for the door. The ROP code is D48 for these mirrors. Are these the heated mirrors? If so, are they controlled by using the electric rear window defrost button on the dash?
I see both heated and unheated mirrors listed.

D48 5003 P MIR M MIRROR O/S LH & RH, REMOTE CONTROL, ELECTRIC, COLOR.

No heat on these. I don't believe it was even an option in '95. Maybe by the end of the generation in the GMT400 Escalades and Denalis?

I don't think the 95's had heated mirrors, but I've been wrong before.

My '99 has a specific button in the HVAC controls for the mirrors.
