[Q] Tint mixture

Hey guys, I'm going to be laying down some black on my new CB radio. In my Freightliner the CB sits atop the dash and the sun reflecting (off of it) is distracting.

So I'm going to spray some black over the chrome. Not trying to completely cover the chrome but am going for a "smoked" look.

Would I need 7 parts black or more/less?

I have no clue.

If scuff it with a red scotchbright, spray krylon primer and some krylon semi flat on it.

Check out that dark Chrome paint duplicolor sells. It's a tinted paint that's meant to go over Chrome and give it a black Chrome look.
