1985 chevy shortbox lowered 3 front 5 rear came up from alabama in the process of putting in 5.3 backed with a 5 speed but my son was just born so its put on hold

Well, its the budget (read: 1/4 the cost) alternative to the LS2 GTO I sold before my son came.. but yes, I'm pretty much officially now an LS1 fanboy. I have 2 LS based vehicles, and one on a stand... plus an extra LS 4l60e. LOL

What have we done?:

Swapped the motor, transmission, rear end, radiator, and did any modifications that were needed... Josh would know better than I do about what we all did because he is out there every time they work on it.

My latest project. 1929 R.P.U. (Roadster Pick Up) A customer's. He bought a kit for the top. Right year, right top, wrong top frame. The top frame is for a regular roadster, not an RPU. The RPU frame is shorter in height, & a bit wider, so to make the top kit fit, the back three panels had to be made longer, from scratch. No pattern. I made the top panel work, sort of. Not completly happy with the fit, but, I'm making silk purses from pig's ears, again! The owner's happy, and he understands what I was working with, plus I got paid!
