Painting tailgate Chevrolet banner?

Has anyone painted the banner on the tail box of their truck and what kind of paint did you use for it? Pictures?

I only repainted my letters and i just used the cheap spray on paint (rattle can [matt black]) that you can get at Walmart and then used my friends clear coat. I took me longer to put the tape on it and get it ready then it did to paint it.
Take your time and make sure that you tape them off real well.
