Oil pressure gauge

Hey, so I got a 91 gmt400 I got the gauges that are the other style that does not have needles not sure what there called

but anyhow my oil pressure gauge reads 30 when it’s not running and 30 when it is running it never changes from 30 ever, I’d like to fix this, could it be likely to be the gauge ? Or is it a oil pressure sending unit problem I understand there is two of them on this truck which one would be the likely culprit? Thanks

The oil pressure gauge sender is on the driver's side rear of the block, just above the oil filter. It looks like this:

That is not on a '91. that is an '88-89 part

this is what your should look like it is at the rear of the block next to the distributor
