I noticed that when I use either the left or right turn signal my fuel gauge with go up and down with the binking of the turn signal. Haven't really noticed this until the other day. Is this a know issue with the 1990 K1500 series trucks. I haven't done anything to the dash or under the dash of this truck and all electronics are still stock. Any thoughts? Bad body to chassis ground maybe??

Thank You in Advance,

This happened to a friend once, I think it has something to do with the blinkers using more power than usual, and your sending unit losing power.

Interesting problem,I think you are on the right track with your thoughts of a bad body to chassis ground.I would start by checking the battery ground to the inner fender. Then the body to motor ground strap.Hopefully this helps.
