New LED tail light bulbs won't work right

Yeah ive never seen white but maybe im wrong with the color. Been a couple years. And your probably right about the bulbs now working without being ck bulbs. He lives in another town so i don't really see him that much. But if i see him I'm going to remove tail light and see what color board he has. But yeah he has cheap auto zone leds and they work.
