I went from the El Camino and managed to find a nice '98 Silverado with 48,000 miles on it, from Oklahoma. Dropped it 3/4 and added some wheels and tires.
I wanted to go with a stock size rim for now, so I used lowered tubular A-arms to avoid any rubbing and having to grind the stock ones associated with a spindle/spring kit. Someday, when the miles go way up I may do a flip kit.
Looking about adding some shock extensions in the rear, as I get a little bottoming with a load in the bed.....otherwise it rides great.
