What I started with:

:puke:

Banner freshly pulled off, came off pretty clean, just a little rubbing with wd40 and some clay bar and it was perfect.

Adhesive left on backside of old banner

what did you do exactly just polish up the chrome on the old banner or is that a brand new one?

Your the first person I have seen that actually wanted to keep that banner on the tail gait.

I love the look of those banners and wish my 98 would have come with one but now that I have blacked out tails I think the banner would just look out of place.

Nice find for those who like to keep their gates stock look.
After I peeled mines off my Silvy and cleaned up the goop
I swore under oath never to install another ever again.

Thanks.

I got it on ebay, I just entered the part number and one came up. They pop up on there from time to time but they are pretty uncommon. It would have to be someone who bought one way back when and had it laying in their garage like the guy I bought it from or sometimes people get them from a closed chevy dealership and put it up.

The best bet would probably be GMpartsdirect.com, They have them for $210 plus shipping, thats the best I could find elsewhere. GM part # is 15569393

I think it would look fine. It would make the banner "pop" even more.

I love the way they look on black trucks...
