Watching my 5 ft. Tall wife try and hop into passenger seat of my 97 k1500 finally stopped being funny, so I ordered some step bars from N-Fab off of Amazon. Free shipping, and got here in 4 business days. Not too shabby. Installation was simple enough, a set of Jack stands, a sharpie, a 14mm wrench and socket, a drill, and a 3/8" bit was all it took, but if you're less than accurate with the drill, a die grinder could help. May want some paint too if you live in a place that salts the roads. I just sealed it up with a little RTV I had laying around as I didn't want to fuss with paint prep. End result below.
