ok so here it goes. did a HID conversion on my KC Slimlight offroad lights. The only down about the installation of the bulbs, was i forgot about the "slim" part....DUH. The HID bulb was alot longer than the OEM KC halogens. this being said, i took a torch and heated up the back of the light until it got red hot, place a socket on the glowing red metal, and hit the socket with a hammer. After doing this with both lights, i finally got enough clearence to seal the lights up. Then it was just wiring them up. By the way the light bar is made by Smittybilt its called "street light bar". Its got 4 tabs and just bolts where your license plate bracket goes with just 2 bolts. Sorry about the small pictures. The bulbs are H3 6000k. And the Slimlights are long range lenses. The HID really made a HUGE difference in brightness.

Does the beam pattern scatter badly with the HID's in the KC's? I've seen several driving light HID conversions where the beam looks nice when up close, but the beam gets scattered due to the different focal point of the HID Arc. Looks good though man! Love the smittybuilt!
