K&N Cool Air intake?

Guys i have a 99 1500 with the vortec 350 8 cylinder. would the k&n cool air intake improve performance AND fuel mileage? thanks

youll get some more juice out of it cause the truck aint trying to suffocate itself, as for mileage you might but im not 100 percent sure. every truck reacts a tad bit differently wih thises things depending on your driving havbits, etc. also itll whine like a supercharger too

look on ebay they sell cold air intakes like the k&n for like 80 bucks

Your factory air cleaner is adequate. Its already a cold air system.

The stock setup is good for 400HP and is as cold as it is going to get, the K&N filters filter over9 times worse then a paper filter, save your money for a tune.

depends which stock cia you have. mine was this dinky little thing i bought a cold ait for it cheap and bought a diff filter and there was a notable difference
