ifs lockers?

does anyone know where i can get a locker for my front diff i have a 1990 k1500 i have heard a few people say theres came stock but i dont know if they are full of it i have also heard that the cv shaft set up is to weak for a locker

I'm not sure if you can get an aftermarket one but there was never a stock front locker.

There was never an OEM front locker and there is no such thing as one for the front 1/2 ton IFS. Would just break everything.

only ifs you can get a traction aid for is the 9.25 ifs used in the 8600gvw 3/4 ton and 1 ton

brackets are different but i would think it can be done, the only issue i can think of is the cv shaft flange size, not sure if it is the same size/bolt pattern

ZM6 H3's have 8.25" cast iron front diffs with factory electric lockers. I could give you the GM part number, msrp is ~$700, but you'll just blow up the your oem mag case if you bind up with the wheel dead ahead and the CV's level.

h3 front diff is a 7.6 ifs not 8.25 ifs, the zm6 is the offroad package
