howling noise

when i warm my truck up in the mornings at certain rmp's a little higher then idle it make a howling noise coming from the front of the engine best i can tell. so i was messing with the pulleys and noticed the 2 idler ones i can wiggle them the top one with the tensioner has more wiggle then the lower one. is this normal?

Define "wiggle".

They have a tiniest bit of play in the bearings so they can rotate. If you can grab it and move it 1/4" or more I would be concerned.

The engine driven clutch fan will sound like a roar not a howl.

its definatly not a normal sound. it doesnt sound horrible but not right either. as far as wiggle i wouldnt say its 1/4" but its definatly more then the tiniest bit of play. im gona pull the belt and look at it better.
