High idle?

Is it common for these trucks to idle really high until it warms up fully? The truck is a 90 tbi

Shouldn't really stay above about 1100rpm. Check for vacuum leaks (such as the throttle body mounting gasket) and your idle air control valve.

On a completely cold start both of my trucks will surge to around 1100-1200rpm but they both drop down to normal in less than a minute.
