Expedition Build Thread Section!

There needs to be an expedition rig section. In the offroad section as a sub-forum. Mild Offroad trucks with trail campers, camping adventures, you name it. it could all be in there.

An expedition type build would fit in perfect in the off-road section.. not too many pavement expeditions one would imagine

I think he's talking about trucks that are very purpose built vehicles with things like RTTs, snorkels, storage systems, portable kitchens, solar panels and roof racks, etc.

I think it would be judging by the activity im seeing on another gm forum im on where there are some other gmt400 members as well.

Ive always loved the look of an expedition type rig.

I dont think this forum really needs an expedition build section, but more along the lines of an expedition equipment section. We could talk about Snorkles that we have found to fit our trucks with limitied modification, we could talk about our experience with different tent setups. We could also talk about 12v equipment like stoves, coolers, ect. I dont think it would really end up 100% gmt400 related, but the information would be greatly appreciated by many members, and would be easily found in one section.
