Bushing helped mine a bit, it was squeaking like crazy when you pushed the pedal all the way down and when it was released pedal had lots of free play as well. This also seemed to increase the amount of force required to fully depress the clutch and it seems a bit better with the new bushing. Will take it for a ride today to see how it is in traffic which is where it was killing my left leg between the pedal effort and the slop and the squeak drove me nuts.

Well pedal bushing made it better for a about 20 pushes of the clutch then it popped again. Clip is not broken but it keeps popping off the pedal and back to squeaking and stiff pedal. Assuming the slave and or master is going and getting too much for the clip to handle pushing?

Yup! That's the indicator!
