OP hasn't replied back yet, and we're getting lost in a lot of tangent thoughts.

Bowtie, why are you considering an engine swap, and what is your goal for the new engine? Are you interested in building your own motor, or are you looking at which crte motor to buy?

Thanks, Frank. As I was reading I was going to post that link. I used those adapters to put a '70s era Edelbrock C3BX on my TBI heads. You have to dremel out the bolt holes on the intake manifold, and you have to go carefully and not force the adapters into place. You want a light interference fit. Lots of people report breaking them, and I think they're forcing them in to early. Have your engine handy and stop dremeling to trial-fit often. You want to make sure you're aligned with the bolt hole beneath.
